Humanism has been an important philosophy that has paved the way to modern science, technology, and modern theories of justice, ethics, and morality. It may also have limited our scope of what is valuable, beautiful, and inherently meaningful by promoting humanity as “the measure of all things.” To what extent can a philosophy of the non-H serve as a corrective or enhancement to humanistic philosophies?
